A talk and an interview: Queens Museum
June 21, 2014
I’ve been a fan of the Queens Museum for years. They have curated some of the most interesting community-engaged art projects in NYC, so I was delighted when I received an invitation from Sandra Dávila, a NY-based Mexican artist and designer. She invited me to give an artist talk in her class Do-it-Yourself en Español (a part of the New New Yorkers programming). I had a great time sharing several of my photographic projects with a group of Latin American adult women.
Then, Sandra interviewed me for Diseño Abierto, her burgeoning podcast on design and in spanish. We had a very inspiring conversation so I’ll look forward to hearing it when she edits it and will certainly post it here!
